A.Wayne Biberstein, 82, died Thursday at his home. Born in Berne, IN spent most of his life in the Ft. Wayne area. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. He worked for the U.S. Postal Service for 23 years retiring in 1987. Surviving are son, Jack (Rita) Burks, Churubusco, IN, daughter, Cheryl Ann Biberstein, Churubusco, IN, sisters, Carolyn Andres, Ft. Wayne, and Betty Kutsuma, West Minster, CO, 5 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife DeLoris in 2001, 1 sister, and 1 brother.
