Adelia "Dee" R. Jackson, 89, passed away on October 3, 2024. She was born in Aboite Township, IN, a daughter of the late Lloyd and Ruth Forsythe.

Dee worked at GE for 37 years before her retirement. She enjoyed puzzles in her spare time. She was involved with Navy Club Auxiliary, Elex Club with GE, and a member of Honorettes and El Par with Elex. She was a life member of the VFW Auxiliary Post 857.

She is survived by son, Douglas (Wanda) Jackson; daughter Diane (Tom Duncan) Jackson-Duncan; four grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; and sister, Ann Zirkelbach. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews and close friends to cherish her memory. She is also survived by her two feline companions, Ellie and Vaughn.

She was preceded in death by her husband Delmar "Del" Jackson; brother, William "Bill" Forsythe.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 18, 2024, at 10 a.m. at Covington Memorial Gardens, Fort Wayne, IN.
