Aiko Hines, 87, formerly of Roanoke, IN, died Saturday January 3, 2017 in Hartley, Iowa. She was born August 3, 1929 in Sendai, Japan to the late Masanosuke and Isa Suzuki. Aiko worked 30 years for the Hunckler Production Co. in Huntington, IN. On August 10, 1955 she married Glen C. Hines in Tokyo, Japan and in 1955 they moved to the United States to start their family.

Surviving is her husband Glen C. Hines, children, Jim (Stephanie), Jane, Rick (Margaret) and David Hines, 6 grandchildren, Glen, Alex, Jason, Courtney, Tiffany, and David and 5 great-grandchildren. Aiko was preceded in death by 1 brother, Masakazu, 2 sisters, Kyoko and Masako.

Funeral service is 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 10 , 2017 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home 8408 Covington Rd. with calling from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Pastor Mark Hoffer will officiate. Entombment will be in Covington Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
