Albert R. Hoy, 89, of Fort Wayne, died Tuesday October 10, 2006 at Heritage Park Nursing Home. Born May 24, 1917 in Fort Wayne, he was a WW II Navy veteran. and a retired firefighter from the Fort Wayne Fire Department after 20 years of service. Survivors include his wife, Annabelle Hoy of Fort Wayne; sons, Terry Hoy of Cloquet, Minnesota, Todd Hoy of Fort Wayne, and Robert Hoy of Costa Rica; daughters, Alana Hoy of Fort Wayne, Donnalee Vaughn and Rosalee Stauffer both of Kansas City, Kansas; a brother, Donald Hoy, of Syracuse; eight grandchildren and one great grandchild. Visitation will be held Thursday from 12-1 p.m. at Covington Memorial Funeral Home 8408 Covington Rd. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens. Memorials to Donor''s Choice.
