Alexander Thomas Freeman, 23, of Fort Wayne, departed us to be in Heaven with his Lord Jesus on, May 3, 2014. He was born in Fort Wayne and graduated from Wayne High School in 2010. He had worked in the distribution center at Sears. He was baptized in Waynedale Baptist Church.

"Alex you will be remembered and never forgotten as the loving fianc, father, son and friend. Your smile and sense of humor will always be alive here and in Heaven."

He is survived by his fianc, Macie Martz; son, Elijah Freeman; parents, Chris and Rhonda Freeman; siblings, Samantha and Tyler Freeman; maternal grandfather, Raymond (Donna) Pelz; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Nicholas Freeman; maternal grandmother, Patricia Pelz; paternal grandparents, Robert and Marianne Freeman.

Funeral Service is 11 a.m., Friday, May 9, 2014 at Covington Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, with calling one hour prior. Calling is also 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Thursday, May 8, 2014 at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest at Covington Memorial Gardens. Preferred memorials are to Elijah Freeman Education Fund, please make checks payable to Chris or Rhonda Freeman.
