Alma Viola Peters, 92, of Fort Wayne, died Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at Chandler Place. She was born in Whitley County, daughter of the late, Hugh A. Gaff and Edith E. (Maggert) Gaff. She retired from Bowmar Instrument Corp after 25 years of service. Alma was a wonderful homemaker for her family, she loved her family time, count cross stitching, sewing and anything horse related.

She was survived by her sons, Dennis (Pat) Peters of Sebring, Florida and Clifford (Pam) Peters of Churubusco; daughters Judy Heck and Rhonda Case both of Fort Wayne; and three wonderful generations of grandchildren and step grandchildren.

Alma was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Kenneth R. "Pete" Peters, in 1987; step daughter, Betty Schoenher; son in laws, Don Heck, Sonny Squires and Don Case; and step grandson, Eryk Heck.

Funeral Service is 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 24, 2015 at Covington Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, with calling one hour prior to service. She will be laid to rest at Covington Memorial Gardens. Preferred memorials are to Chandler Place.
