ALMA R. STEPHENS, 88, went home to her Lord on Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2017. Born Nov. 19, 1928, in Barthel, Ky., she was the daughter of the late Charles and Ernie Reynolds. She was active at The Chapel and Gideon's International.

Surviving is her husband, Dillard Stephens; children, Barb (Dan) Dirig and Tim (Becky Ellis) Stephens; siblings, Deanna Workman, Jean Stewart, and Clinton Reynolds; grandchildren, Mandie (Charles) Walker, Paul (Mollie) Dirig, Elizabeth (Brad) Landis, John Dirig, Kent (Teena) Stephens, Craig (Alicia) Stephens, Melissa (Seth) Kalhagen, Samuel (Andrea) Stephens, Luke (Aly) Stephens, and Micha (Kasey) Stephens; and 18 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Roger Stephens.

Funeral service is noon Saturday, Jan. 14, 2017, at The Chapel, 2505 W. Hamilton Road, Fort Wayne (IN 46814), with viewing two hours prior. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Preferred memorial are to The Chapel or Gideon's International.
