Alta Eleanor Doughman, 95, most recently of Seminole, Florida, passed away December 13, 2010. She was born to Frank and Gertrude (Hilliard) Laub in Hicksville, Ohio. She also lived in Fort Wayne, Kendallville, Warsaw and Syracuse. She was a proud graduate of Miami University of Oxford, Ohio and was a retired Indiana high school business teacher. She was an active member of Fort Wayne''s South Wayne Baptist Church and the Kendallville, Warsaw and Syracuse United Methodist Churches. She is survived by her two children, a son, Dennis F. (Jean) Doughman of Seminole, Florida; daughter, Janis A. (Bob) Bollinger of Clarkson, Kentucky; four grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Weldon H. "Bud" Doughman; three brothers, Richard H. "Dick", Claron L. "Bud" Laub both of Hicksville, Ohio and Gerald F. Laub of San Diego, California, and one grandchild. Graveside service to celebrate her life is at 1:00 p.m., Friday, December 17, 2010 at Covington Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road. In Lieu of flowers memorial are to The Scholarship fund at the Inn at Freedom Square, Seminole, Fla.
