Andrea Mary White 79 passed away Sunday, April 7, 2024, at Stillwater Hospice in Fort Wayne, IN. She was born May 7, 1944, in Batavia, IL the daughter of John Edward and Corinne (nee McRoberts) Albright.

She was united in marriage to Jack F. White February 5, 1966, in Batavia, IL. Andrea loved the spontaneity and laughter of children. She was continually inspired by the beauty of flowers, music, and antiques. A consummate reader, she was never without a book in hand. She was known for her generosity, and tenacious resolve to find answers to questions. Although she lived in many places in the country, she had the desire and devotion to stay connected with many dear friends and relatives. The oldest of eight siblings she relished her role as family historian, however, her greatest passion and love was her role as grandmother to Ella White and Alison White Caleja.

She is survived by her husband, Jack, and two sons, John H. White, (Laura) Andrew White, (Leslie) of Fort Wayne and eight siblings, Laurette (Terry) Grove of Geneva, IL, Deborah (Buzz) Marqui of St. Charles, IL, John (Robin) Albright of Geneva, IL, Ted Albright of Beckley, WV, Felicity Albright of Freedom, PA, Francis Miles of Aurora, IL, Corinne Albright of Batavia, IL, Abigail (Jim) Ehrhardt of Geneva IL, two grandchildren, Alison (Justin) Caleja and Ella White of Fort Wayne and many nieces and nephews.

Wake: 5 PM to 7 PM on Friday, April 19, 2024 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home 8408 Covington Road Fort Wayne, IN. Memorial Service: 10 AM on Saturday, April 20 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home.

Interment will take place at Covington Memorial Gardens at a later date.
