Anita Lynn (nee, Myers) Garman-Gaby, 48, of Elkhart, passed Thursday, April 27, 2017. Formerly of Syracuse, a 1987 graduate of Wawasee High School. She had worked at Four Winds International Corp. Anita lived life to the fullest, she loved boating, going to the beach, an avid Dallas Cowboys fan, obsessed with cooking shows, and a huge Aerosmith and Nickelback fan.

She is survived by her children, Amanda (Lamar Pittman) Garman and Cody Garman; grandsons, Amari and Kaiden; mother, Pamela Myers; siblings, Barb (Frank) Parker, Cindy (Jake) Wilcken and Royce (Becky) Myers; husband, Jon; maternal grand mother, Iris (Elmer) Chamberlin- Woodcox; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, James Thornburgh; step father, Royce Myers; maternal grandfather, Frank Chamberlin; and paternal grandparents, Clyde and Charlene Thornburgh.

Visitation for her family and friends in Elkhart is 2-6 p.m., Sunday, April 30, 2017 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 10776 McKinley Hwy, Osceola. Covington Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, Fort Wayne is handling the services.
