IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Anna Beth
Ford
December 17, 1926 – July 12, 2020
Anna Beth Ford - much loved Mom, Grandma, sister and aunt - passed away on Sunday morning, July 12th with daughter Carla and granddaughter Amy by her side.
Waiting to greet her in Heaven were her husband LeRoy Ford, her parents, and her sister Sara.
Anna began her earthly journey on December 17th, 1926 in Paris, Texas, first daughter of Jesse Elbert and Ollie Caffee. Sisters Mary Ruth and Sara Virginia completed the Caffee family. She met our dad, LeRoy (known to all as Ford), in September 1942 and they married on February 6th, 1943. After our dad finished his overseas Army service, they settled in Fort Wayne, Indiana where they lived the rest of their lives. One of Anna's big regrets was that she didn't complete her education before she married. So after dedicating her life to raising her two daughters, she decided to rectify that regret. She enrolled in college and graduated from Indiana University with a degree in Elementary Education in 1977. Getting that degree was one of the proudest moments of her life. Anna was a woman with a variety of interests and she pursued them all with great success. She was a superb homemaker, an excellent seamstress and crafter, a top notch cook, a prolific writer and was very tech savvy. She could do just about anything with her computer and spent many happy hours exploring the wonders of the internet.
Anna is survived by her two daughters, Carla Holdgreve (Tony), and Lana Little (Carter), sister Mary Ruth Taylor, 5 grandchildren (Jennifer, Brett, Amy, Josh and Jake), 6 great grandchildren (Baylee, Evan, Braylon, Brendon, Jordan and Easton), two great-great granddaughters (Evie and Preslee) and many nieces and nephews.
We are all thankful for the 93 years she was with us and we will miss her every day.
