Anna J. (Sutton) McDonald, 90 of Ossian went to be with Jesus Thursday, April 30, 2026 at Markle Health and Rehabilitation. She was born in Lee County, Virginia on August 10, 1935, to Henry Jr. and Rhoda Catherine Sutton.

She moved to Fort Wayne in 1957 and met her husband, George McDonald, the love of her life. They were married in 1958 and had three children, two boys and a daughter. She was very religious, waking up every morning to a cp of coffee and reading the Bible. She enjoyed going to church and spending time with friends during Bible Study. She enjoyed cooking and crocheting. Most of all she loved spending time with family and cherished her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Ronald McDonald and Tim McDonald and daughter, Veda Pitman; six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Henry; six sisters and two brothers.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at 1:00 pm at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46804. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. Burial will follow at Covington Memorial Gardens.
