Anna Catherine Morgan, 88, passed peacefully Monday, April 1, 2019.  Born in Paris, Kentucky, she was a daughter to the late Dudley Kenny Lawrence and Eugenia Burton (Walton) Lawrence.  She moved to Indiana with her future brother and sister in law, Catherine and Stanley Sturgeon during the depression.  Anna graduated in 1950 from Howe High School in Indianapolis.  She then met and married the love of her life, Harvey.

Anna was a devoted wife to her late husband of over 45 years, Harvey Lee Morgan, he passed in 1997. Anna was a wonderful mother, she would take her children on adventures and the memories of going to the pool, her southern home cooked meals, the fried chicken and the house smelling like homemade cookies; Anna was an amazing grandmother; she enjoyed taking long walks and searching for geodes with the kids.  Anna's warm smile always welcomed you; she was a dedicated caretaker to her family and friends.  She was an avid gardener, liked to read and traveled.

Anna is survived by daughters, Jo Linda Morgan of Corvallis, Oregon and Janet Lee (William C., Sr.) Jack; sister, Lorraine Inman; only granddaughter, Jessica (Michael) Simpson; grandsons, Ian (Kami) Haynes, Chris Jr. (Tabytha) Jack, Rob (Samantha) Jack and  Mike (Mindy) Jack; and great grandsons, Christopher, Mason, Austin, Caden, Camren, Gavin, Malachi, Cooper and Carson.

Anna is also preceded in death by siblings, Clarence Lawrence, Lola Conant, Pauline Morrison Sarah Miller, Marie Hefner; and also two infant brothers, Dudley Eugene Lawrence and Marion Clay Lawrence.

Per Anna's request a private family memorial service will be held.
