Antonio Garza, 81 of Fort Wayne passed away January 3, 2026, at Lutheran Life Villages in Fort Wayne. He was born on September 3, 1944,  in Rio Hondo, Texas to Loreto and Felipa (Guillen) Garza. He married Julia Castillo; she survives.

He enjoyed traveling, driving, walking and watching the Dallas Cowboys. He had a good sense of humor and enjoyed telling jokes and storytelling. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Antonio is survived by his wife Julia; two children, Asenath Garza and Onesimo Garza and a grandson, Jason Redmond III and his sister Hilia Salinas.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, Friday, January 9, 2026, at Templo Aposento Alto, 307 Woodland Avenue, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46807. The funeral will begin at 12:00 pm. Burial will follow at Covington Memorial Gardens.
