Antonio "Tony" Morones Jr., 78, passed away on Monday, November 21, 2022 at Stillwater Hospice in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He was born in Owosso, Michigan to the late Antonio Sr. and Anselma (Vasquez) Morones. Tony married Gloria Morones on August 15, 1972 and she proceeded him in death in 2019. He served honorably in the United States Army. Tony enjoyed wood working and antagonizing those he loved. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather and will be greatly missed. Surviving are his children, Renee House, Denny (Michelle) Spurgeon, Daun (Lauri) Spurgeon, Dwane (Suellen) Spurgeon and Paul (Linda) Spurgeon; 20 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and nephew, Juan Flores. Tony was also preceded in death by grandson, Shelby James Eguia; and great-grandson, Dominic Spurgeon. All services will be private. Arrangements entrusted to Covington Memorial Funeral Home.
