Ardella M. Smethers, 100, of Fort Wayne passed away Thursday, December 17, 2020 at Greystone Health & Rehabilitation Center.  Ardella was born December 29, 1919 in Huntertown a daughter of the late Charles and Della (Kruse) Wyatt.  She worked many years in the cafeteria at Lincoln National Bank.  Surviving is her son, Joe (JoEtta) Smethers of Fort Wayne; daughter, Linda (Jerry) McBride of Yorktown, IN; grandson, Bryan (Danielle) Smethers of Columbia City; grandson, Jeffrey (Sarah) McBride of Kokomo, IN; Jamie (Tiffany) McBride of Carthage, NY; step-granddaughter, Tina (Jeff) McIntosh of Indianapolis, IN; step-grandson, Derek (Olivia) Phillips of Fort Wayne; and 12 great-grandchildren.  Ardella was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur E. Smethers.  A private family service is planned.  Covington Memorial Funeral Home 8408 Covington Rd. is handling arrangements.
