Arlene C. Hageman, 91, of Fort Wayne, died on Thursday, May 9, 2013 at Parkview Hospital. Born in Monroeville, she was the daughter of the late Ira C. Gaskill and Nellie E. Marquardt. She was a wonderful mother and homemaker and was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her son, Jim (Mary) Hageman of Kouts; daughters, Sally (Stan) Mahrt of St. Louis and Carol (Mike) Fink of Fort Wayne; sister, Norma Conley of Missoula, Montana; six grandchildren, Sean (Michelle) Mahrt of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Todd (Jennifer) Fink of Fort Wayne, Christine (Jay) Cowger of Valparaiso, Shannon (Jim) Pierce of O''Fallon, Missouri, Lauren (Paul Glass) Hageman of Valparaiso and Monika (Scott) Dayringer of Snellville, Georgia; and 11 sweet great grandchildren, Xavier, Ian, Peyton, Grant, Anthony, Amelia, Ava, Riley, Robert, Christa and Bryce.

She is preceded in death by her devoted and loving husband of almost 55 years, Ralph Hageman; brother, Lowell Gaskill; and a sister, Beulah Sterling.

Funeral service is 11 a.m., Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at Covington Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, with calling one hour prior to service. Calling is also 6-8 p.m., Monday, May 13, 2013 at the funeral home. She will be entombed at Covington Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorials are to the church.
