Arthur Eugene Skillman, Jr., passed quietly on Friday January 18 ^th , 2019. "Gene"was born July 2, 1938, the son of Arthur Eugene Skillman, and Vivian Mackey Skillman, both of whom predeceased him. He had been Married to Claudia Jean Ferrell and Bonnie Kay Simmons. He had three children and three step-children that he raised. Greg Skillman, Stacia Skillman, B. Scott Skillman, Rory Hughes, Vint Hughes and Gwendera  Egyed. Gene also leaves behind a sister (Diana Schumaker) and brother (Randy Skillman). He was a long time resident of South Whitley, Indiana and worked as an Independent Insurance Agent for most of his adult life. He was a proud member of the Gold Wing Road Riders Association. Services will be private.
