Arvilee Smith, 87, passed away on Thursday, May 11, 2023 at Stillwater Hospice in Fort Wayne, IN. Born in Oneida, TN, Arvilee was a son of the late Alfred and Elva (Choate) Smith. He worked for DANA Corporation. Arvilee enjoyed hunting and spending time with his grandchildren. Surviving are his granddaughters, Sarah (Jason) Bransteter and Amy (Brian) Felger; and great-grandchildren, Paige Bransteter, Carter Bransteter, Abby Felger and Jacob Felger. Arvilee was also preceded in death by his wife, Joann Smith; and daughter, Pam Smith. All services will be private. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens.
