Barbara Ann Bowman, 67, passed away on October 27, 2023. She was born in St. Charles, Ill. a daughter of the late Robert Scott and Dorothy Scott, who survives.


She worked in telecommunications for a number of years and continued to work until her passing. She and her husband were members of Pleasant Chapel Community Church in Roanoke, IN.


Barbara was a hard worker but in her spare time she enjoyed home cooking, canning, and talking on the phone.


She is survived by her husband of 47 1/2 years, James Bowman; son, Joshua (Izzy) Bowman; grandchildren, Koda, Jace and Nova Bowman and one on the way; siblings, David Scott, Keith Scott, Ruthanne Scott, Mary Shaver, and Sandy Prinner.


She was preceded in death by her father and one brother Lloyd Scott.

A memorial service will be held at 2 pm on Monday, November 20, 2023 with calling one hour prior at Pleasant Chapel Community Church, 880 E. 1100 N. Roanoke, IN 46783.
