Barbara E. Collins, 74, passed away on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, IN. Born in Fort Wayne, IN, she was a daughter to the late Johnny and Eilene (Snead) Ross. Barb married the love of her life, Randy J. Collins on March 27, 1971, and he preceded her in death on March 5, 2014. She worked in security for corporate Verizon until her retirement. Barb was an active member of The Journey Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family, camping, bowling, playing cards, going to the casino. In Barb's earlier years, she enjoyed playing golf with Randy. Surviving are her daughter, Samantha (Jeff) Lloyd; sister, Carolyn (Gary) Falls; grandchildren, Breanna Maher, Madison (Cody) Willhite, James "Jimmy" Sbarra, Reagan Lloyd, Jacob Lloyd, Garrett Lloyd and Jacey Lloyd; and four great-grandchildren. Barb was also preceded in death by her daughter, Angela Sbarra; sister, Judy Tracey; and brother, Kenneth Wilkin. Funeral service 1:00pm, Thursday, August 8, 2024, at Covington Memorial Funeral Home with visitation from 11:00am to 1:00pm prior to the funeral service. Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association or Alzheimer's Association. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens.
