Beatrice Shrum Cartmel, 95, went home to her Lord, April 25, 2015. She was born April 4, 1920 in Robinson, PA to the late Lewis and Catherine Shrum. Called to be a missionary at age 8, Beatrice and her late husband Dr. Daryl Cartmel served in India for The Christian and Missionary Alliance.

Surviving are her children, Warren B. (Mona Dewart) Cartmel, Bronwyn E. (Jay) Thayer, Jennifer L. (William Plessinger) Cartmel, three grandchildren, 1 brother and 1 sister. Beatrice was preceded in death by her husband Dr. Daryl Cartmel in 1985.

Memorial service will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday May 9th. at Westview Alliance Church 9804 Illinois Rd. with calling from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. Burial will be in Covington Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
