Bernard L. "Bernie" Outcalt, 89 of New Haven passed away Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at Kingston Care in Fort Wayne. He was born June 23, 1935, the son of Dale and Juanita (Rich) Outcalt. Bernie married Barbara Bell, and they shared 67 years together.

Bernie proudly served his country in the United States Army and was an accomplished wood worker. He sang in the Regeneration Quartet for several years and enjoyed fishing and working with wood in his garage.

Bernie is survived by his wife Barbara; two children, Tammy (John) Walters and Kevin Outcalt; four grandchildren, Michael, Amber, Ryleigh and Avery; 9 great grandchildren and a sister, Nedra (Roger) Pleasant. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Edward Outcalt.
