Bernice M. Huggins, 89 of Fort Wayne, passed away Friday, December 12, 2025, in Fort Wayne. She was born on September 11, 1936, in Fort Wayne, the daughter of Herbert and Erma (Walker) Gass.

She is survived by her brother, Roy (Mary) Gass, sister, Ruth Ann Ellis and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, son Eugene and four brothers, Arthur, Glenn, Carl and Jim.

Bernice worked at Magnavox for 30 years. While working at Magnavox she raised her son and played golf whenever she could.  At one point in time she was on 5 golf leagues in Ft. Wayne.  She loved to watch all sports and attended many of the sporting events that her family participated in.

Bernice moved to Arkansas upon retirement so that she could play golf whenever she wanted.  She eventually moved back to Ft. Wayne where she worked for K-Mart for 6 years.

She was very social and loved being around people and never knew a stranger. Her always positive energy and infectious laugh will be greatly missed.
