Bertha Ellen Fromm, 96, passed Friday, September 8, 2017. Born July 4, 1921, in Steuben County.

Bertha leaves behind four loving children, Richard Morris "Morry" (the late, Sharon, 2015) Fromm of Fort Wayne, Beverly Joan (companion, Charles Pearson) Craig of Auburn, Gene Allen (Dru) Fromm of Shoals, Indiana and Rowena "Rena" Kay (Tim) Scheibenberger of Fort Wayne; 19 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; and 30 great great grandchildren.

Bertha was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Richard Morris Fromm, 1920-1988; their son, Byron Eugene Fromm 1946 - 2004; and two grandchildren, Shawn Patrick Craig, 1965-2015 and Richard LeRoy Heintzelman, 1965-2017.

Funeral service is 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at Covington Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, with calling one hour prior. Calling is also 2-8 p.m., Tuesday, September 12, 2017. She will be laid to rest at Covington Memorial Gardens. Preferred memorials are to American Heart Association or Lung Association.
