Betty E. (Krausz) Erne, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, December 30, 2018, at Lutheran Life Villages.

Betty was the daughter of Jennie Jackman.  She worked at the General Electric Plant where she met her husband of 70 years, the late Kenneth Paul Erne, Sr., he passed in 2015.  Betty enjoyed playing cards and attending musical programs.  She was interested in family reunions, dog training and showing their dogs in obedience.  She and Kenneth, Sr. followed the sporting events of their sons, the late Kenneth, Jr. and David Scott Erne.

Betty is survived by son, and David "Scott" (Kyla) Erne of Avon, Indiana; daughter in law, Sharon (Smith) Erne of Panama City, Florida; granddaughter, Michelle (Erne) Haynes; great-grandchildren, Hunter and Connor Haynes, of  Sault St. Marie, Canada; and close and devoted friends, Jan and Randy Garringer of Fort Wayne, Glen and Yvonne Peachey of Bellville, Pennsylvania; and very first daughter in law, Paulette Shell of Sault St. Marie, Canada.

Betty was laid to rest at Covington Memorial Gardens.
