Betty Lou Michael, 82, died Wednesday November 4, 2015 at her home. She was born in Cleveland, Tennessee April 4, 1933 to the late Bob and Martha Evans. On January 3, 1953 Betty married Floyd Michael Jr. Betty was a homemaker and a member of the Jesus Name Church and was active as a Sunday school teacher.

Surviving are her son, Ric (Darlene) Michael, daughter-in-law, Catherine Ann Michael, three grandchildren, Joshua Lee, Nicole Rea, Devin Miles, 1 great-granddaughter, Montana Rea, care taker, "her" Sonja Coolman, and special friend Diana (Lavern) Strange. Betty was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years Floyd Michael Jr. January 10, 1998 and a son Randy Michael in 2010 and a brother Isam Evans.

Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Sunday November 8, 2015 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home 8408 Covington Rd. with viewing from 10:00 - 11:00 A.M. There will also be viewing Saturday from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Covington Memorial Gardens Cemtery.
