Betty J. Talbert, 91, formerly of Fort Wayne, passed, Monday morning, January 12, 2015. Betty was born March 25, 1923, daughter of late, Charles Fredrick and Edith Marie Littlefield. She was a member of Grace St Johns UCC and volunteered for many years at Lutheran Hospital. She loved her family, traveling, and watching the IU basketball games.

She is survived by her children Colleen [David] Spore, James Talbert, and Brad Talbert; her grandsons, Daniel [Suzi] Spore, Jason [Katy] Spore and Alicia Franks; two great-grandchildren, Ethan and Madelyn; and four nieces Sharon, Linda, Jane, and Connie.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, of 37 yrs, Thomas C. Talbert; her brother, Harold Talbert; and a niece, Kathy.

Services will be 1:00 pm Monday, Jan. 19, 2015 at Covington Memorial Gardens with calling two hours prior to service. Preferred memorials are to the Kidney Foundation or Grace St. Johns UCC.
