Betty Hardesty, 79 of Ft. Wayne, passed away Sun. April 6, 2008. She is survived by her sons Gilbert "Gil", Walter Jr., Kenneth, Keith, and Wayne Hardesty; daughters Kathy West and Penny Hardesty; 34 grandchildren; and 25 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Walter and daughter Tina Shirley. Funeral services will be 10:00a.m. Thur. at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington RD with calling there on Wed. from 2:00-4:00pm and 6:00-8:00pm. Memorials can be made to the American Diabetes Association.
