Betty J. Hower, 84, of Fort Wayne, died Monday January 15, 2007 at Ossian Health Care. She was born Aug 1, 1922 in Fort Wayne. She was a waitress and cook at Walgreens in Southtown Mall and was a member of Waynedale Baptist Church. She is survived by sons, Jerry Hower of Tocsin, IN, Daniel Hower of Fort Wayne and Michael Hower of Aurora Colorado; a brother, Marion Chappell of Englewood Health & Rehab; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Alfred and a sister Laura Brown. Services Saturday 1 p.m. with calling one hour prior at Covington memorial Funeral home 8408 Covington Rd. Calling also Friday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens. Memorials to Waynedale Baptist Church.
