Betty Joan Richardson, 92, of Fort Wayne, IN, passed away on October 25, 2023. She was born in Fort Wayne, IN on May 23, 1931, a daughter of the late William and Helen Richardson. Betty worked for the Fort Wayne Newcomers for many years, and was also the general manager at WXKE. In her spare time she enjoyed cooking and was a talented seamstress. She is survived by children, Kathleen J. (Stephen) Blevins, Janet (Ted) Hoover, Timothy (Tina) Putt; step-sons, Todd (Carolyn) Strayer and Tony Strayer; step-daughter Janelle (Tim Junk) Smagala; five grandchildren, and sister, Vera Burton. She was preceded in death by her previos husband, Billy Putt; husband, Jerry L. Strayer; son, Thomas Charles Putt; and sister, Elvera Caccamo. All services will be private.
