Betty Rose Straley, 93, passed Wednesday, August 15, 2018.  Born August 18, 1924, in Fort Wayne, she was a daughter to the late, Lewis and Grace (Sowers) Felger. She was a graduate of Arcola High School in 1944. Betty retired from General Electric after 30 years of service.  She was a member of Trinity English Lutheran Church and loved gardening, quilting, and her kitties.

She is survived by brother, Roger (Cathy) Felger; nieces, Jacki (Jerry) Nodine and Jan (Ed) Sapiega; great nieces, Allison Sapiega, Lauren (Gustavo) Tryillo and Britt (Eric) Egler;
great nephews, Jeff (Megan) Schieferstein and Clayton Nodine; and her furry friend, Sammy.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin Straley, in 1978; sisters, Kathy Scott and Marge Gelderd; and brothers, Donald and Gale Felger.

Funeral Service is 11:00 a.m., Monday, August 20, 2018 at Covington Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, with calling one hour prior.  Calling is also 4-6 p.m., Sunday, August 19, 2018 at the funeral home.  She will be laid to rest at Greenlawn Cemetery.  Preferred memorials are to Hope for Animals.
