Beverly Jean Woollen died January 3, 2010 at the Hospice Home. Born in Frankfort, Indiana she graduated from Rossville High School in 1965. She worked as a Registered Echo-Cardiographer at St. Elizabeth''s Hospital, Lafayette, IN for 30 years, Lutheran Hospital 11 years. Her legacy will be her donation of hundreds of stuffed animals to Children''s Hospital at Lutheran Hospital and hundreds of books to both Children''s Hospital and Oncology Center at Lutheran Hospital. Surviving are brothers, Philip (Dianna) Woollen, Lafeyette, IN, Jeffrey Woollen, Mulberry, IN, niece, Jenna Woollen, Lafeyette, IN, nephews, Kevin (Karen) Woollen, and Keith Woollen, both of Rossville, IN, and Ryan Dilley, Lafeyette, IN, aunts, Velma (Russell) Ford, FL, Barbara Suter, Lafeyette, IN. She is preceded in death by her parents, Oliver & Eleanor Woollen. A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. January 10, 2010 in the chapel at the Lutheran Hospital.
