Billy Thomas Smith, 81, of Fort Wayne passed away December 4, 2021.  He was born in Kentucky March 15, 1940 and was raised by his grandparents.

Billy was married to the love of his life, Nancy (McKale) Smith, for more than 50 years before her passing in 2013.  Together Billy and Nancy owned B&N Stand and would travel around to tractor shows and festivals selling elephant ears.

Surviving are: son, Samuel (Kimberly) Tate; 2 grandchildren; sister-in-law, Dawn (Ron) Grimm; brother-in-law, Bruce McKale; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Billy will be from 11:00am - 1:00pm Thursday, December 23 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana, with service to follow at 1:00pm.
