Bobby Eugene Griggs, 81, went home to his Lord Friday, May 11, 2018.  He was born December 21, 1936 in Winchester, Kentucky to the late Claude and Emma (Rison) Griggs.  Bobby was City Manager for APCOA parking at the Fort Wayne International Air Port for 50 years also for 40 years he along with his wife operated the Stitch & Knit Shop on Broadway.  Bobby was a veteran of the United States Navy and a member and past Commander of American Legion Post 241.

Surviving are his children, Donna K (Greg) Minard, Saundra C. (Lennie) Messer, brother Paul Griggs, daughter-in-law Tina Griggs , 7 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.  He was preceded in death by Tillie Griggs in 2009 and the mother of his children JoAnn Daniel who died in 2013 and 5 siblings.

Funeral service will be 1:30 PM Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home 8408 Covington Rd. with viewing 1 hour prior to service.  Burial will be in Covington Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
