Bonnie Lou Durnell, 81, died Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at New Haven Care. Born in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter to the late Russell Aker and Alice (Cox) Moser. She had worked in the warehouse at Supermarket Services and was a member of the Blue Dot Motorcycle Club. Bonnie was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother, who loved her great grandchildren and any and all animals.

She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Russell of New Haven; grandchildren, Tom (Trinidy) Russell and Toby (Shanoa) Russell; great grandchildren, Tyler, Austin, Skyler and Katie.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Harry Durnell, Jr., in 1990.

Funeral Service is 1 p.m., Saturday, January 2, 2016 at Covington Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, with calling two hours prior. She will be entombed at Covington Memorial Gardens. Preferred memorials are to the Humane Society of Allen County.
