Bonnie L. Schnepp, 84, of Lake George, passed away, Thursday, November 1, 2012 at Parkview Hospital. Born in Decatur, she was the daughter of the late, Nathan Eugene and Beatrice Elizabeth "Peterson" Melchi. She retired from Lutheran Home after 25 years as a Dietary Manager. She enjoyed cooking, cards and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her son, Lon (Lynn) Schnepp of Trenton, MI; daughters, Pam (Tony) Wiedemann of New Haven, and Sue (Dennis) Spitler and Kay (Mike) Caccamo both of Fort Wayne; brothers, Manfred "Pete" of Fremont and Floyd "Buster" of Remington; eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Schnepp, in 2009.
Funeral Service is 10 a.m., Monday, November 5, 2012 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, with calling one hour prior to service. Calling is also 2-4 and 6-8 Sunday, November 5, 2012 at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest at Covington Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorial are to American Diabetes Association.
