Bradley Jay Ball 74, went home to be with his Lord on Wednesday March 16, 2011, after his battle with cancer. He was born August 24, 1936 to the late Orville and Doris Ball in Toledo, Ohio. Surviving him is his wife of 52 years, Delma (Dee) Ball, children, John, Susan, Ft. Wayne, Timothy, Mesa, AZ, Nishe Rothschild, Guatemala, 11 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. Brad was a member of North Park Community Church, a former Gideon International member, DAV Chapter 40, and Military Officer Association of America member. He retired from the U.S. Navy as a CWO3 Warrant Officer in 1976 after 21 years, from ITT as a chief instructor in Ft. Wayne in 1986, and as a missionary to military people with OCSC/ Cadence International after 21 years in 2006, having served in Panama, Japan, Okinawa and several stateside ministries. Services are 2 p.m. Monday March 21, 2011 at North Park Community Church 7160 Flutter Rd. with calling two hours prior to service. Burial will be in Marion National Cemetery, Marion, Indiana. In lieu of flowers, Brad requested that as a memorial donations be sent to Nishe Rothschild missionary in Guatemala % Dee Ball.
