Brenda Cozad, 76 of Fort Wayne passed away Sunday, January 4, 2026, at her home surrounded by family. She was born on August 31, 1949, in Fort Wayne but grew up in New Haven.

She worked at H & R Executive for many years and served as a Teacher's Aide at Unity Lutheran School. She was a good ol' gal and enjoyed baking, cooking and sewing. She was strong in her faith and attended St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Fort Wayne several years. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Some of her fondest memories were spending time with family, friends and neighbors.

She is survived by her two sons, Rob (Sherri) Cozad and Todd (Sara) Cozad and two grandsons, Jacob and Gavin. Brenda was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Jack.

Visitation will be from 9:00 am to 11:00 am, Friday, January 9, 2026, at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, Fort Wayne. The funeral service begins at 11:00 am with burial in Covington Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
