Brenda Sue Edwards, 64 of Fort Wayne went to be with Jesus Tuesday, July 8, 2025, after a long battle with breast cancer. She was born April 23, 1961, in Bluffton, the daughter of Jack and Dorothy (Perry) Harrison.

Brenda loved Jesus and was involved in her church in various way throughout the years. She enjoyed gardening, horses, antique dolls and many other treasures. She liked being outside in nature and camping. She was a very kind and caring person, always willing to help when she could. Her family was what was most important to her, and she loved spending time with them.

Brenda is survived by three children, Brenda M. (Elias) Engledow, Sarah Edwards (Greg Geise) and Gary (Monica) Edwards; six grandchildren, Matthew Edwards, Sasha Fiedler, Gideon Richards-Edwards, Penelope Edwards, Isaiah Edwards and Joshua Edwards; five siblings, Tina (Denny) Orr, Jackie (Dennis) Bunn, Becky Cross (Andy), Jim Harrison (Vicki) and Jeff Harrison. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Melissa Baker and ex-husband Gary Michael Edwards.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana 46804. There will be a time of sharing memories of Brenda from 5:30 pm to 6:00 pm.
