Burl R. Feltenberger 97,died Sunday August 9, 2009 at the Tidewell Hospice Home in Bradenton, Florida. A 70-year resident of Fort Wayne he was best known for owning and operating the Tasty Burger in downtown Fort Wayne for 20 years. He also worked for; Ray Fabian Park State Homes 10 yrs, Parkway Restaurant, Berne, IN 2 yrs, Maintenance for Orchard Ridge Golf Coarse 10 yrs. He was a member of the South Gate Lodge Free & Accepted Masons # 731. Surviving are his daughter; Karen (Miles) Zimmerman, New Haven, IN, son; Joel Feltenberger, Sarasota, Florida. Also surviving are six grandchildren; Amy (Nick) Huntley, Kerry (Thomas) Vonderau, Ft. Wayne, IN Sarah (Oliver) Fitzwater, New Haven, IN, Chad (Heather) Feltenberger,Pottstown, Pa Scott (Julie) Feltenberger, East Lansing, MI, Christopher Feltenberger, Lake Zurich, IL, and seven great-grandchildren; Nicole, Nicholas and Cameron Huntley, and Tyler & Kyle Vonderau, and Zachery & Joshua Feltenberger. Also surviving companion; Marjorie Cox, Goshen, IN. He was preceeded in death by his wife of 47 years Jeanne Feltenberger. Services are 11 a.m. Friday August 14, 2009 at the Covington Memorial Funeral Home with calling 1 hour prior to service. Pastor Scott Zeckzer officiating.
