Carey Hernandez, 55, passed away on Saturday, February 4, 2023. He was born on August 13, 1967 a son of William and Marie (Paz) Hernandez. Carey attended North Side High School. He married Jennifer Cox in 2004 and she survives. Carey enjoyed playing the stock market. Surviving are his wife, Jennifer Hernandez; sons, Matthew (Amber) Kenseth and Gage Hernandez; mother, Marie Hernandez; brother, Vance (Stacey) Hernandez; sisters, Valerie (Joe) Ross, Venessa (Dan) Gossett and Lucinda (Abner) Diaz; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Carey was preceded in death by his father, William Hernandez. Memorial service 1:00pm, Friday, March 31, 2023 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home with memorial visitation one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
