Carl R. Bailey 84 died Wednesday October 27 at Heritage Park. Born in Huntertown to the late Harrison C. and Francis (Vandolah) Bailey he was a life long resident and former Owner & Operator of the Huntertown Grain Company where he started when he was 16 years old. He also worked and retired from Custer Grain after 22 years service. He was an Army veteran of WWII. Surviving are, wife Marie Bailey, daughters Nancy (James) O''Connell, Huntertown, Pam Porter, Ft. Wayne, son, Randy (Cindy) Bailey, Huntertown, sister, Wilma Rebbe, Sherman Oaks, CA, 5 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 50 years Margaret Bailey, 2 brothers, Eldon, Ross, sisters, Edna and Doris. Visitation is Friday 3-8 p.m. at Covington Memorial Funeral Home 8408 Covington Rd. Private family graveside services are at a later date. Preferred Memorials to " The Jester''s of St. Francis" a special needs theater group or to Donor''s Choice. Burial in Huntertown Cemetery.
