Carl F. Heyneman, Jr., 69, of Huntington, passed away on Friday, September 26, 2025, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne.

He was born on May 9, 1956, in San Gabriel, California, to the late Carl F. Heyneman, Sr., and Leotta (Jordan) Heyneman. On May 7, 1983, Carl married April Wakley, who survives.

A welder by trade, Carl had a true gift for working with metals. Beyond his work, he enjoyed hunting, playing video games, watching YouTube videos, and listening to his favorite music—especially Ozzy Osbourne and Pink. He had a sweet tooth for vanilla boxed cake and a special love for animals, particularly his cats, "Booboo" and "Dill." Carl will be remembered as a kind, compassionate man who left a lasting impact on all who knew him.

Carl is survived by his wife, April; three children, Christopher Cook, Stacee Yates, and Carl (Ceirah) Heyneman III; six grandchildren, Madison, Stevie, Skyler, Alexxis, Brooklyn, and Ashlynn; three great-grandchildren, Wyld, Addelynn, and Arizona; and five siblings, Don Allen, Rick Allen, Charlene Stout, Lucinda Doss, and Kathy Loy. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Jerry Allen.

A celebration of Carl's life will be held at a later date.
