Carl E. Revert, 73, passed Saturday, October 14, 2017 at Millers Merry Manor in Columbia City. Born in California, he was a son to the late Carl H. and Elizabeth R. (Schumacher) Revert. Carl proudly served his country in the Navy and was a member of the Speedway 500 Moose Lodge. He retired from Norfolk Southern Rail Road after many years of service.

Carl is survived by children, Curtis (Belinda) Revert of South Carolina and Jennifer Revert-Copsey of Massachusetts; sister, Cindy (William) Johnson of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Terry, Jessica, Zachary and Jeremy; and two great grandchildren, Trent and A.J.

Carl is preceded in death by sisters, Barbara Knepper and Carol Ann Shaw.

He will be laid to rest at Covington Memorial Gardens at 11 a.m., Thursday, October 19, 2017 in the Garden of Last Supper.
