Carol Lawson, 84, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Monday, November 3, 2025. She was born on September 19, 1941, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to William and Dorothy Vasatko.

Carol enjoyed crafting and cross-stitching, but her greatest joy came from spending time with her family.

She is survived by her children, Tamara (Brian Smith) Lawson and Glenn Lawson; four grandchildren, Lindsey, Amanda, Adrienne, and Kyle Lawson; two great-grandchildren, Leeland and Carver Miller; her sister, Ruth (James) Dumesic; and her brother, Larry (Bonnie) Vasatko. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Ovie Lawson.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at Covington Memorial Gardens, 8408 Covington Road, in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
