Carol Jean Sherouse, 65, passed away on Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at her home with family by her side. Born November 29, 1946 to the late Dean and Gladys (Zahne) Knapp. She retired in 2003 as a unit clerk from Parkview Hospital, after 33 years of service, and in 2010 from Wal-Mart after 4 years. She enjoyed gardening and canning, and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. "She was a beloved wife, Mother and Grandmother and will be dearly missed."
She is survived by her daughter Vanessa (Andrew) Morgan of Fort Wayne; sons, David (April) Sherouse of Fort Wayne and Gordon (Caprice) Fuentes of Skiatook, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Allison, Amber (Chris) Kirstin(Brandon) Nicole, Danielle, David J., Kendall, Conner, Ciara, Cody and Lee Hansel, who is on the way; great- grandchildren, Dalas, Kyliegh, Jerran, Brayden, Lynn and Kade.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Lloyd Hansel Sherouse of 43 years, two sisters, Pat Czarnecki and Barbie Slaybaugh, and one brother, Dick Knapp.
Family held a private service. Memorial contributions may be made in Memory of Carol to Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home.
