Carol J. Cockerham, 63, of Milton, Wisconsin and formerly of Fort Wayne, passed on Sunday, January 19, 2014, at Mercy Hospital in Janesville, Wisconsin. Carol was born on April 15, 1950 in Janesville, to the late Harvey and Charolette (Fancher) Sockness. Carol worked as a Pipe Fitter for General Motors, retiring in 1988.

Carol is survived by her husband, Frank Cockerham, of Milton, Wisconsin; children, Raymond (Diane) Vierck of Edgerton, Wisconsin, Roy (Wendy) Vierck of Fort Wayne, Randall (Norma) Vierck of Janesville, Wisconsin, Catrina (Josh) Ricks of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Vanessa, Kassandra, Ronald, Raymand, Ruby and Natalie Vierck, Brianna Johnston, Fernando Adame, Sebastian Ricks and Adam and Ariez Schweyer; great granddaughter, Izabella Erickson; and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her sons, Russell Vierck and Darrick Sockness.

Funeral Service is from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Saturday, February 1, 2014 at Covington Funeral Home, with calling one hour prior. Officiating will be Pastor Clifford White. She will be entombed in St. Paul Mausoleum at Covington Memorial Gardens.
