Carolyn Louise Ormiston, 63, of Fort Wayne, died on Sunday, January 19, 2014 at home. She was one of ten children born in Wabash, Indiana to the late, Clifford Ramer and Katy (Harman) Ramer. She worked for Faulsing Accounting and then Wells Fargo as a trust assistant. She was an active volunteer in the Central Indiana Labradors Rescue & Adoption (CIRLA).

She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Dean Alan Ormiston; daughter, Dawn Ormiston; granddaughters, Kristina Ormiston and Allexsa Potts; step grandsons, Cevin and Kenneth Bopp; brothers, Mike (Linda) Ramer, Larry (Sandy) Ramer, Rick, Chris and Steve Ramer; sisters, Debbie Dewitt, Kathy Smith, Peggy Ramer and Melissa (Jay) Vestal; nephews, Chad and Craig Ramer and Scott Davis; nieces, Ashley and Katelyn Ramer and Donna Smith; great nephews, Snook Smith and Caleb Ramer.

Funeral Services for 1 p.m., Thursday, January 23, 2014 at Covington Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, with calling three hours prior. Officiating will be Chaplain Jim Teasdale from Heartland Hospice. Preferred memorials are to MDA or in honor of her dog, Scout, Central IN Labradors Rescue & Adoption.
