Carolyn Sandel, 62, passed away, Tuesday, December 22, 2020.  Born in Garret, Kentucky.  She  was a daughter to Buster and Bobbie Thacker.  She married James Sandel, he survives.  She retired from The Hilton Hotel, Ft. Wayne, IN. Carolyn loved watching Little House on the Praire and General Hospital. She mostly loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband, James, son, James Sandel, four daughters, Melissa (Brian) Carroll, Jennifer (Mike) Reger,  Heather Stephens, Brittany Sandel, nine grandchildren, one great- grandchild and one on the way,  Brothers, John (Kim) Thacker and Don (Karen) Thacker, three sisters, Garnett (John)  Langley,  Kathy (Ron) Fike and Debbie (Randy) Thorton,

She was preceded in death by brothers Chuck Branham and Russell Thacker

Due to Covid restrictions there will be a private funeral service on Wednesday December 30, 2020  at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, Se will be interred  at Covington Memorial Gardens.
